What is the difference between a line trimmer and a brushcutter?
A line trimmer is primarily designed for edging lawns, trimming grass around trees, fences and garden beds, and tidying areas a mower cannot reach. A brushcutter is generally more powerful and built for tougher work such as long grass, dense weeds and heavier vegetation. Brushcutters may also accept blades or other cutting attachments, depending on the model.
Should I choose a petrol or battery line trimmer?
Battery line trimmers are quiet, easy to start and require relatively little routine maintenance, making them an excellent choice for many suburban gardens and regular property maintenance. Petrol models provide long continuous runtime and remain popular for larger properties, heavier vegetation and extended cutting sessions.
