The Stihl MS 231 Wood Boss is a compact chainsaw with a great power-to-weight ratio, ideal for cutting firewood and felling small trees. The environmentally friendly and economical 2-MIX engine delivers up to 20% less fuel consumption and up to 70% fewer emissions compared to STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology. Side-mounted chain tensioning allows safe and easy chain retensioning, while the long-life air filter system provides long cleaning intervals. Tool-free fuel caps make refuelling safe and easy.
